Not really a suprise that its been announced, though amusing that World at War dosen’t even have a concreate release date yet. Nonetheless Activison announced at a recent press conference that Call of Duty 6 is in development and will be released sometime in 2009. And guess what kids, Infinity Ward are back at the helm!

This whole battle with IW and Treyarch is amusing.
It isn’t really a battle. Activision are whoring a cash-cow. A game takes around two years of dev time and to pump a good game out each year just wouldn’t work. So they get Treyarch to make the odd number games and cash in on the COD name.

What made me say the word battle is it just made me laugh that weve barely had time for the announcement of COD5 to sink in and we get the announcement of COD6. COD5 isnt even out yet!
cod6 is being announced and being developed at the same time as cod5 because they are TWO DIFFERENT DEVELOPERS! get this through your heads
