The details regarding the limited edition version of Gears of War 2 have been announced on the EB Games Australia website.
The pack will include:
“Beneath the Surface: An Inside Look at Gears of War 2,” a 48-page hardbound book including character profiles, exclusive concept art, and foreword by Design Director Cliff Bleszinski Bonus DVD including exclusive making-of-the-game video footage, design galleries with audio commentary by Epic Games, and promotional videos including the E3 2008 trailer, “Rendezvous” Dominic and Maria Keepsake Photo SteelBook DVD case Exclusive Xbox LIVE code to unlock a gold-plated Lancer Assault Rifle for online play
Not a bad bundle. The gold-plated lancer is a nice little asthetic touch as well. No price point has been set for this yet but I’d be thinking around the RRP of $120AUD like most limited editions these days.
I’m still trying really hard to be excited for this game. Do you know any of the new features for gameplay or is it just Gears 1 with nicer graphics and more gore?
I’m a die hard Gears fan but this limited edition is something that will collect dust with me.
